18/04/2026:Memorial Update: 

Ongoing changes to the Downham Market Airfield Cairn Memorial will help preserve it and ensure its 

long-term manageability. Thank you to all material sponsors and the friends of the memorial.

Given the amount of work still required, we'll continue to share updates for anyone following the progress.  

RAF Marham will officially bless the memorial. 

A separate salute ceremony by RAF Marham, with the BBMF Lancaster flyby, is being planned for 2027.
