On Monday, 8 June 2026, a meeting was held with the Land and Estate Director of Albanwise Ltd regarding the future use of the Downham Market Airfield Cairn Memorial within the local community.

In this meeting, I was informed that I will now have complete control over the day-to-day management and organisation of all events held at the memorial.

In the future, all events at the Airfield Memorial, whether planned or spontaneous, must be approved by me before the visit.

Albanwise Ltd has provided me with clear guidelines for future events. This is particularly important for group visits.

 The area on which the Airfield Memorial is located is situated on private land and a busy working farm, and therefore, health and safety MUST be adhered to.

24-hour CCTV cameras have been installed at various locations overlooking the memorial for these reasons.
