AIRFIELD CAIRN PLAQUE

July 2025 Photo of the completed Downham Market  Airfield Cairn Memorial.

One week before this photo was taken, the memorial embankment grass was green and lush, and a week later, the extreme sunshine turned it a yellow colour! 

Above the Main Airfield Cairn Plaque, which was completed in the summer of 2023 by plaque sponsor Fine Cuts Group (Ref:  Jasmin)

A special moment: Christopher Coverdale, right, points at Darren, the builder who gave his time to help make the airfield cairn and the memorial loss sections . Graham is left holding the RAF Flag,  who is Darren's right-hand man, who also donated his time and is a friend of the airfield  memorial project.
